Pros:- good quality oils - smell great, natural and doesn't leave behind stains or stickiness in the diffuser- Steal deal - given that every oil set and single oil bottles have become so expensive its difficult to buy so many fragrances in a decent amount at less than 2 bucks per bottle- Variety - 18 different smells is a LOT.- great for beginners like myself who has no idea about oils like palmarosa lol - I use a different one everyday for wfh and its amazing makes me feel calmer and alertCons: - I shifted them into a tray because after I open very slight leaking happens if I keep it vertically so packaging not to be used after opening a bottle
I’ve already tried several of the oils. I could smell something before I even opened the box, so I was worried they were leaking. The box is very sturdy, and all the bottles are snug, and none of the bottles were leaking. The oils I tried had a strong scent, which is expected with organic oils, and what I wanted. Someone gave me nonorganic oils to use once, and I didn’t like the chemical smell, it also made me itchy. These smell real, and I had no reaction.I used these for my mini diffuser, and only three drops total at a time. I was surprised on how vibrant they were since it was on for 6 hours. I wish I could send a review with the scents. These are nice, and even though the bottles are small, you don’t need a lot, so they will go a long way.
I was tired of my wife spending $10 per vial for DoTerra and Young Living. Since we don't use these on our skin, I thought we should try some less expensive oils for the diffuser. My wife smelled all of them and said they all smell like they should. We have used two in the diffuser so far and she has been happy with that. I say its a good option to save some money!
This set is packaged very nicely in a sturdy box and arrived undamaged. One of the things that I really like about this set is that there are so many scents that don't typically come when you by a set - some difficult to find locally ones as well. I like the scents that were chosen to include, some popularly-used ones along with several that I have to dig around to find online that I use when mixing scents for a special blend. I did notice after using a few of these that the scents are not very strong. I've been using Young Living brand for some time and it seems that I have to use about twice the amount of this brand to get the strength I am used to. Overall, I'm pretty pleased though.
Note: I'm writing this review to receive a $10 gift card, but these words are my own.I've purchased essential oils for aromatherapy for around 2 years now, and I'm very happy with what Anjou provides here. While a few are new scents for me (like Palmarosa and Bergamot), most I've smelled before and am not disappointed with in this set.For anyone sifting the reviews to see if the oils are truly "100%" or not: some might be some might not, HOWEVER this is true for most essential oil sellers and should typically not be of huge concern. For example frankincense is very expensive, so the idea of being able to purchase even a small bottle for less than $20 should tip you off that another oil (typically safe and used to dilute the rarer oil to low the price for us) is being added as well.I have no complaint for this item, but I will say that I found a funny typo on the bottles: "Natural, pure essential oils are highly concentrated and should be diluted with a carrier oil before coming into [contact] with the body" It's missing a word where I've inserted "contact".
