I love this product. It was so easy to put together, and I don't say that lightly. I can't usually put anything together. I am a little under 5' 3" tall and this stool works really well for me. I can wash dishes or cut up vegetables on the kitchen counter. It rolls very easily. I have a bad back, and can't stand for too long at a time, ergo the need for this stool. The back rest is very low, so it is not intended to lean back on, but it does let you sit back to feel it and give you a comfort level you are sitting back far enough. It is so nice to know I have something to sit down on when I feel the need when I am preparing a meal. I just make sure I am holding onto the back rest to make sure the stool does not roll from under me as I sit down..
I LOVE THIS STOOL!!! I have been searching for a stool (for years!) that I could use while cooking. I am disabled and can only stand for a few minutes at a time, but I love to cook. All the other stools were too short, too tall, too hard to move around, too heavy... This stool has adjustable height, swivel seat, is SMOOTH rolling, and is very light weight. It was also a breeze to assemble. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect stool! It's also great for haircuts, styling hair, doing artwork, or any number of other projects.
Bought this for my husbands workshop, he loved the stool. When we remodeled our kitchen he brought it inside to set on. After our new island was put in we founded that we like the stool for that too! I plan on buying two more for the kitchen. I had knee replacement and can use it to eat at bar or to cook!
Great little stool. I've had it about 6 months and am very happy with it. Quality is excellent considering the relatively low price.Update: I've had it for about a year and a half now and am still very happy with it. So much so that I bought another one for my other work room. Both have worked flawlessly.Update (5/20/16) I'm still really happy with these stools. Working like new after two years of intermittent daily use. I weigh a little over 200 lbs.I'm 65 and retired and work about 50 hours a week in my home workshop. I've got arthritis pain in my neck, back and knees; this stool really helps me get around when I'm tired of standing. I roll it right up to a table, workbench or machine where I'm working. It's small, light and easy to move out of the way when you don't need it. It's stable and rolls easily on the tile floor in my shop.About the only negative I can think of, is that it rolls so easily, that you have to be careful when sitting down that you don't knock it out of the way with your foot. That's where the handle/backrest is useful. It's not so much a backrest, but it helps you to know when your back is properly positioned and makes a perfect handhold when moving the chair or holding it in place to sit down.
Handy, handy stool. Bought it to use while suffering disc problem. Little did I know how useful this would be. Use it as a vehicle for transporting heavy or clumsy objects around house. It maneuvers splendidly, adjusts up and down with great ease, even rolls on and off carpets with minimal effort. And, finally, has given hours of enjoyment to grandsons (teen and tween) who love wheeling around at top speed......debated buying another so they could race!
